About us
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we care for babies, children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We support around 300 families both in the hospice and the community.
Our support services are wide-ranging and bespoke to each family, including end-of-life care, symptom management, post-death care, planned short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, psychotherapy, and much, much more. We work with staffing ratios that allow us to deliver a high-quality, holistic model of care tailored for each child and family.
As a registered charity, we receive around 16% of our funding from government sources, and our fundraisers and supporters raise the remaining funds needed to keep our services running.
