Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Field Engineer to become part of their expanding team in Birmingham. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and gain practical experience.
They are seeking a field engineer to work with their engineering team and delivery partners to manage their hybrid batch reverse osmosis system trials and operational plants ensuring they run as effectively as possible in the field.
Responsibilities:
You will be on location when systems are commissioned and to support systems in service. The field engineer is responsible for:
1. Maintenance
2. Monitoring
3. Troubleshooting
4. Commissioning
5. Testing
6. System modifications
7. Data analysis
8. System optimizations
9. Using effective communication to train stakeholders in using equipment
This customer-facing role involves collaborating both within the UK and internationally with the company's chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineers, as well as with their customers and delivery partners.
You will develop into a hands-on expert in the functional performance of their market-leading hybrid batch reverse osmosis systems, helping customers significantly enhance their water treatment efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
1. Qualification: BEng, HNC/D or equivalent
2. Experience working with membrane specific technologies, ideally water process technologies and reverse osmosis systems.
3. Field experience of commissioning, maintaining and monitoring of water treatment systems or process equipment
4. Excellent organisational, time management, communication skills
5. Experience working with waste, process and industrial waters.
6. Full Driving Licence
7. Ability to travel internationally to France, India and South America
