Job Description Williams is looking for logistics experts to join our high performing operations team and contribute to our continued success in delivering excellence. We're seeking an Inventory Controller to join our team and drive efficiency on a weekday night shift pattern. The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing the efficient flow, storage, and tracking of high-value components and materials in the warehouse of Williams Racing. This role ensures critical parts are available, accurately recorded, and stored securely to support the team’s performance objectives both at the factory and on race weekends. As an Inventory Controller, your main responsibilities will be: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all stock items, including components, tools, and consumables, using inventory management systems. Prepare ‘picks’ for Operations teams ahead of them being needed in line with the ‘work to list’. Monitor stock levels to ensure critical parts are available for production, testing, and race operations. Conduct regular stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly. Warehouse Operations: Ensure the proper storage of items, ensuring optimal organization, labelling, and accessibility. Implement and maintain inventory control processes that align with team policies and FIA regulations. Coordinate with Goods Receiving team to manage the flow of materials into and out of the warehouse. Demand Planning and Procurement Support: Highlight potential shortages or surpluses to ensure smooth operations during production and race events. Compliance and Reporting: Support and contribute to all internal meetings and feedback sessions. Ensure that all inventory handling complies with health and safety guidelines, as well as FIA regulations. Assist with audits and ensure documentation is readily available for inspection by regulatory bodies.
