Description Summary Reporting to the Production Manager, the Team Lead will drive production line performance, ensuring safety, quality, and performance targets are met on a shift-by-shift basis. The Team Lead will be the first port of call for line-based operational problems and escalation for action; as well as upkeeping of all site standards. Responsibilities To take the lead in driving line based SIC meetings to maximise reliability and minimise equipment downtime. Ensure operators are prepared for a similarly constructive handover for their respective machine centre. Play an active role in reporting line performance on reporting systems. Be the leader in increasing output and driving down lost time using SIC, and other appropriate tools. Challenge behavioural traits which negatively impact on performance and team effectiveness. Highlight requirement of online up-skilling to Technical Trainer. Liaise with H&S Officer for relevant purposes. Understand the V-curve principle and have the ability to train others. Drive hygiene completion rates on machine centres. Be a key part of corrective actions taking place after non-conformances i.e., Quality Failure. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Be able to communicate clearly and paying attention to detail at SIC meetings. Proactivity and organise to mitigate online issues i.e., both material and people preparations ahead of line changeovers. Develop relationships with stakeholders, specifically those on operations. Be authoritative and concise in messaging with regards to H&S aspects and poor behaviours. Ability to challenge constructively and methodically to achieve results.
