We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Interim Senior Management Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation with ambitious growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering timely, accurate financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare monthly divisional management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
2. Analyse trends and variances to provide insightful financial reports to key stakeholders
3. Conduct comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
4. Produce weekly cash flow forecasts by collaborating with AR, AP, and Payroll teams
5. Assist in the preparation of month-end consolidation packs and group cash flow reports
6. Ensure the integrity of financial systems and recommend improvements for streamlined reporting
7. Support the development of internal controls to enhance the financial environment
8. Prepare statutory accounts for legal entities within the division and manage audits and tax compliance
9. Provide essential financial data for budgeting and quarterly forecasting
10. Lead or contribute to ad-hoc financial projects as needed
Skills and Experience:
Essential:
1. ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
2. Commercial mindset with the ability to deliver actionable financial insights
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
4. Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
5. Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
