Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in preparing high-quality meals while ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during busy periods.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Help with menu planning and suggest new dishes based on seasonal ingredients or trends.
Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy restaurant environment.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Pay: From £14.50 per hour
