SHEQ Manager
We are seeking a motivated SHEQ Manager to join our client's team. Reporting to the Managing Director, the SHEQ Manager will manage Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures to help the business deliver its objectives in a safe and proficient manner.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility for the implementation, development and improvement of the Company Management System relating to Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality.
2. To advise and guide all individuals working on projects with regards to the implementation of the SHEQ policies and procedures.
3. To deliver Construction Phase Plans for company projects and submit to clients under CDM regulations.
4. To work with all staff to ensure risk assessments are prepared and reviewed as necessary and assist with their preparation if necessary.
5. Support the Managers/Directors in the production, review and implementation of the relevant Project Management Plans and Safety, Health Environmental & Quality documentation.
6. Ensure that monthly/quarterly Health & Safety inspections are made by the management team and supervisors.
7. To liaise with client representatives in relation to SHEQ management.
8. Develop new and improve existing SHEQ processes throughout the business.
9. Ensure SHEQ compliance throughout the business.
10. Assist the business with SHEQ compliance during the bid and tender process.
11. Production of weekly/monthly reports capturing the SHEQ issues and proactively making recommendations for improvements.
12. Identify training requirements for the team with regards to SHEQ.
13. Create and lead training for SHEQ requirements.
14. Responsibility for coaching and developing the SHEQ Advisor, completing regular one-to-ones, and managing performance.
15. Lead the discharge of principal contractor duties.
16. Continual development and implementation of internal SHEQ portal.
17. Maintenance and development of procedures and policies to achieve ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
18. Leading the onboarding of Contractors and critical suppliers.
19. Overall responsibility for the accurate completion of Client PQQs.
20. Manage and oversee Calibration activities.
Qualifications:
1. NEBOSH General Safety or equivalent.
2. CDM 2015 Knowledge.
3. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
