MAIN PURPOSE:
1. Processing of Sales Ledger transactions, including daily posting of receipts.
2. Production of sale invoices and verifying accuracy of all information within.
3. Assisting in the month-end processes required for production of the Management Accounts, including Occupancy Reconciliations.
4. Ensuring the sales ledger is accurate and up to date.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Daily posting and allocation of sales ledger receipts, including banking.
2. Raising of sales invoices (both regular and ad hoc).
3. Liaising with individual sites and management to maintain accurate billing information, and to investigate any queries from internal and external customers.
4. Investigate/reconcile debtors’ accounts and sales ledger related balance sheet accounts to resolve disputes and queries.
5. Monthly Occupancy Reconciliation, including dealing with related queries for all sites, in order to assist with the Deferred and Accrued Income postings required for monthly Management Accounts.
6. Assist with the production of the Accrued and Deferred income journal on a monthly basis.
7. Specified Sales Ledger related balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
8. Production and distribution, to the individual services, of monthly Aged Debt reports.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in regular support and supervision from line management.
2. Continuously develop professional knowledge and expertise, attending and participating in learning and development events, meetings, conferences, and events (as requested/approved by line management) to ensure up to date knowledge relevant to the role.
3. Attend and participate in regular team and other meetings, both internal and external.
4. The post holder will be expected, at all times, to be familiar and comply with the written policies, procedures and guidelines for good practice, issued by Brainkind.
5. Ensure the Health & Safety policy and procedures are adhered to at all times.
6. Take personal responsibility for own health and safety and report incidents and potential hazards as necessary.

5. Confident using Microsoft Excel.
