We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at Falkland Veterinary Clinic.
Location: Newbury
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 20 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday between 08.00 – 20.00 with a share in the Weekend rota

About the role:
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
2. Answering phones and booking appointments
3. Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
4. Registering new clients
5. Completing insurance forms
6. Dispensing medications
7. Taking payments
8. And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we're looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist:
9. Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
10. Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
11. An excellent communicator with strong empathy
12. Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
13. A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
