As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to support teachers and pupils across different year groups and subjects. They have around 130 pupils on roll with a range of special educational needs. Their highly skilled and enthusiastic staff work with the children to promote independence, communication and social skills. Their class sizes are small, with a good staff to pupil ratio ensuring every child receives the support they deserve. They also work closely with families in encouraging their pupils to be lifelong learners and valued members of their community. Their most recent Ofsted report was rated “Good”. Your Key Responsibilities: Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities. Provide targeted support to pupils who may require additional help with their learning. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support. Support pupils during non-classroom activities, such as lunchtimes or school trips. Requirements: Experience working with students that have SEN. Right To Work in the UK. 2 sufficient references. Up to date DBS. Passionate about education and working with children.
