The Governors of Gladstone Primary School are seeking to appoint an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our dedicated, skilled team and contribute fully to the life of our happy school.
Not only will the successful candidate achieve their apprenticeship in Early Years, we will also provide training in; Makaton, down syndrome awareness, paediatric first aid and safeguarding as well as other relevant training around EYFS practice. As an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner, your day revolves around the vibrant and enriching world of young children's development in our nursery provision where every moment presents an opportunity for growth and discovery. Your role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities aimed at fostering holistic development and providing a nurturing environment for children to thrive. This position will predominantly be supporting a child on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that they have equal access to the learning environment as well as supporting their care needs. The child has a diagnosis of Downs Syndrome and is in the early stages of learning to walk. The child currently communicates using Makaton (training will be provided).
