My client based in Stamford is currently recruiting for a Graphic Designer / Creative Artworker to work on creating retail marketing materials, online ads, and social media activity. This is a part-time role, but flexibility will be required. This will be an office-based position.
We are looking for a creative thinker that can create concepts as well as work within established brand guidelines. This role is ideally suited to someone who is looking for a part-time role in the creative sector or a recent graduate with a year+ (ideally 2 years) experience.
Working in a small team of 3 generating project concepts, digital artwork for print and/or online, and social media content. Using Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
Hours: 15-20 per week - This is not a remote role or hybrid role.
Pay: £13 to £16 per hour.
Days: Flexible - Monday to Friday, no weekends.
Holiday: 25 / 5 weeks per annum (pro-rata)
Contract: 6 Months Contract - Possible permanent contract at the end of the term.
Skills / Experience / Responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years industry experience
* Technical knowledge of print and online specs with a creative flair.
* Ability to work across both print and digital platforms.
* Create and assist with the management of content and posting across platforms.
* Good communication skills and professionalism
* Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite to produce concepts and production artwork.
* An understanding of Microsoft Office, and an organised filing system.
* Excellent attention to detail and can follow instructions
* Excellent appreciation of layout, working to brand guidelines
* Photo retouching product and campaign imagery
* Knowledge of print advantageous.
* Knowledge of social media management tools advantageous.
* Knowledge of photography advantageous but not essential.
