Job Description

* Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
* To have a focus on HR, FM, Health & Safety and Mobile Plant categories.
* Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
* Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operational procedures.
* Stay abreast of industry trends and market conditions.
* Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the Procurement department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
* Relevant educational qualifications in Business, Economics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
* Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
* Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
* Proficiency in supply chain software programs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
