Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Sales and Customer Service Advisor to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting existing customers with policy changes, selling personal and commercial insurance products, and ensuring that you uphold our exceptional customer service standard.
About the role:
As an Insurance Sales and Customer Service Advisor, your duties will include:
* Working with existing and new customers over the phone, by email, and in person to offer insurance solutions for their business and personal needs.
* Ensuring that we deliver for our customers in a timely manner so that they have the cover that they need when they need it.
* Identifying and promoting our range of investment, pension, and Health & Safety Products (lead generation) with existing and new customers.
* Getting involved in our team initiatives to ensure we remain a great place to work.
* Attending events to meet customers and promote our services to potential new leads.
* Managing our internal accounting system by:
o Conducting daily banking (reconciling BACS payments) and banking cheques.
o Checking our aged debt and contacting customers to remind them for payment.
o Ensuring that all requests for activity for an account are dealt with.
o Issuing refunds to our customers in a timely manner.
About you:
* Demonstrated Sales and Customer Service or Banking experience.
* Consistently self-motivated to achieve and exceed targets.
* Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Demonstrated problem-solving ability, good attention to detail, and willingness to use own initiative and judgment.
* Strong interest in and commitment to self-development and learning.
