South-East UK (Kent, Sussex, Surrey)
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for sales of all Masimo products in assigned territory
2. Plan and execute strategies to convert accounts (single departments and/or the whole hospital from ED, general floor, critical care and theatres) to the use of Masimo products in a high-competitive market
3. Engage in selling of accounts, including qualification, demonstration and closure of competitive and exclusive products, positioning Masimo’s technology as the new standard of care in pulse-oximetry, other non-invasive parameters and our automation platform (Medical Device Integration, In-hospital remote monitoring, Virtual Hospital remote monitoring)
4. Ability to make product demonstrations and negotiations with clinical, operational and financial teams (bio-medical engineers, divisional managers, purchasing managers, etc.)
5. Partner with appropriate Distributors and OEM sales personnel in planning and executing sales strategies to convert accounts
6. Provide information to upper management including market trends, competitive activity, product design needs, regulatory, and production requirements
7. Participate in hospital bid tenders
8. Maintain thorough product knowledge including ability to demonstrate products, position products vs. competitive products and in-service end-users
9. Provide regular sales forecasts to upper management
10. Manage expense budget for all required activities
Requirements:
11. Bachelor’s degree or similar level of education
12. Proven track record of selling both disposable products and capital equipment to hospitals and the ability to communicate value-based solutions
13. Three or more years of Medical Device Sales experience. Patient Monitoring systems and knowledge of hospital digital systems highly advantageous
14. Direct selling experience in high-competitive markets
15. Experience calling on clinical and non-clinical departments (bio-medical engineers, purchasing managers)
16. Experience working with Distributors and OEM sales personnel
17. Demonstrated conceptual, analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
18. Digital first and innovation minded
19. Results oriented with a positive "can do" attitude and a sense of urgency to get things done
20. Comfortable in high visibility situations and exhibits strong self-confidence
21. Superior written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional ability to lead group presentations
22. Demonstrated self-starter; a "hands-on" individual who enjoys challenge and is dedicated to getting the job done with minimal support and direction. Accustomed to a heavy travel schedule
23. Fluent in English.
24. Comfortable in high visibility situations and exhibits strong self-confidence.
25. Must be accustomed to a heavy travel schedule.
26. Must be PC literate (with a focus on Excel and BI tools), have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and project management skills.
