We are seeking a motivated and highly skilled Public Health Consultant to join our dynamic team. This position plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to enhance public health initiatives and improve community health outcomes. As a Public Health Consultant, you will work closely with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community stakeholders to assess public health needs, design intervention programs, and evaluate their effectiveness. Your expertise in public health policy, data analysis, and community engagement will be pivotal in guiding our efforts to address pressing health issues, such as chronic diseases, infectious diseases, and health disparities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public health principles, experience in program management, and the ability to analyze complex data to inform decision-making. You will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with various stakeholders to promote awareness, advocate for resources, and support policy development. Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of public health needs and resources in various communities.
Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs and policies.
Analyze data related to public health outcomes and present findings to stakeholders.
Collaborate with government agencies, non-profits, and community organizations to enhance health initiatives.
Design and conduct surveys and focus groups to gather community input and feedback.
Evaluate the effectiveness of public health programs and recommend improvements.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project results and strategies.
Requirements
Master's degree in Public Health or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public health consulting or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of public health principles, practices, and methodologies.
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data management software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £90.00
Location: Swindon, Wiltshire
