Location: Birmingham Contract: 6 months Work Pattern: Hybrid (3 days on-site per week)Hays is partnering with a local council in Birmingham to recruit a Business Analyst with experience in culture change and HR for an initial 6-month contract, offering a competitive day rate of £400.As a Business Analyst, your primary responsibility will be process mapping for specific projects across the council. You will focus on establishing and documenting the current 'As is' processes before designing the 'To be' processes and identifying the necessary transition activities between them.Key Responsibilities: Conduct interviews and gather workflow information, identifying opportunities for improvements and addressing risks and bottlenecks. Create visual process maps, including flowcharts, swimlanes, and BPMN diagrams. Support and lead workshops with cross-functional teams to stress test processes. Develop robust SOPs, metrics, and trackers for the job evaluation team. What You Will Bring: Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude, with the ability to make a significant impact on future ways of working.
