Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and committed Assistant Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic finance team, working in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the chance to maintain accurate financial records and support various accounting functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department.
What you'll do:
1. Assist in the preparation of month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and budgets.
2. Prepare cashflow analyses for review.
3. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
4. Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
5. Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records, including expense reports and receipts.
6. Assist with financial audits and compliance requirements.
7. Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
8. Participate in financial analysis and forecasting activities.
What you bring:
1. AAT qualified or relevant experience.
2. Proficient in using accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial transactions.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Familiarity with international revenue recognition standards.
6. Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
7. Solid understanding of accounting principles and a best practice approach.
