General Manager – Doncaster – Up to £40,000
Chase & Holland are excited to be working closely with a well-established retailer who are seeking a General Manager to lead and support in the development across the business and their multiple stores.
This is a great opportunity within a successful business where you will oversee day to day operations across three stores including people management, creating and setting goals for growth and supporting staff in their personal development to ensure productivity and motivation. You’ll play a pivotal role in the development of business processes and supporting in driving the company forward.
General Manager Responsibilities:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the three retail branches
Creating effective strategy and plans for growth
Managing budgets and optimising expenses
Conducting recruitment and training when necessary
Reviewing operational processes and identifying areas for improvement
Supporting staff in professional development
Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to across sites
Working with the buying team with regards to stock and pricing
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience within a similar role
Experience in overseeing planning and budgets
Solutions focused and able to react to challenges quickly
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams
