Pertemps are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our clients Income & Cost Recovery Team. In this vital role, you will help recover outstanding charges and payments. Location - Central Edinburgh Hours - 36 hours a week, Monday - Friday Duration - temporary Pay - £14.93 per hour Immediate start Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer enquiries regarding invoices, payments, and outstanding balances in a professional and empathetic manner. Provide a range of administrative support services Process payments, set up repayment plans, and negotiate settlements in line with policies. Investigate and resolve disputes, ensuring fair and reasonable solutions. Work closely with internal departments and external agencies to support debt recovery processes. Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with data protection and financial regulations. What We're Looking For: Previous experience in customer service, income recovery, finance, or debt collection. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully. Strong numerical and IT skills, including experience using customer management or finance systems. A proactive and organised approach, with great attention to detail. A commitment to delivering excellent customer service and supporting customers fairly and professionally.
