Join to apply for the Safeguarding Adult Practitioners role at Dorset Council UK.
We have two exciting opportunities for experienced Safeguarding Adults Practitioners to join our dedicated Safeguarding Team.
One role is full time (37 hours a week) and the other is part-time (18.5 hours a week). These rare openings are available following the retirement of two valued colleagues.
In these dynamic and fulfilling roles, you will lead Section 42 enquiries, conducting visits and working closely with individuals and families, guided by the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal. You'll also collaborate with providers and other professionals, offering expert safeguarding advice and guidance.
The full-time role is based primarily in the East of the county, and the part-time role is based in North Dorset and Dorchester. You will also need to have the flexibility to support other areas of the team’s work when needed.
You’ll join a highly supportive and collaborative team, committed to making a real difference in people’s lives. If you’re passionate about safeguarding and ready for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.
