Chief Technology Officer at VirtualArmour
We are seeking a highly motivated and results driven Inside Sales/Lead Generation Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will focus on generating new business opportunities for the Commercial team and will focus on VirtualArmour’s Managed Infrastructure and Managed Security Services. You will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting appointments with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling via tools like LinkedIn.
* Prospecting: Research and qualify potential clients within the managed infrastructure and security services space, leveraging CRM tool to maintain notes, communication and appointment details.
* Outreach & Communication: Initiate first-touch outreach to prospects, clearly articulating the value of VirtualArmour’s managed infrastructure and security services to generate interest and set appointments.
* Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Directors, and the Vice President of Revenue, to align on lead generation strategies and ensure smooth transition of leads to the sales process.
* CRM Management: Keep detailed records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions in CRM, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the managed infrastructure and security sectors to better engage with prospects.
* Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified leads to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Follow-up: Provide consistent follow-up to prospects and clients to maintain relationships and drive new opportunities.
* Reporting: Regularly report on lead generation efforts, outcomes, and progress toward sales targets to the sales leadership team.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in inside sales, lead generation, or business development, ideally within managed infrastructure or managed security services.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to effectively articulate complex solutions.
* Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and manage multiple prospects simultaneously.
* A basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices and managed IT services will be considered a plus.
* Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
* Previous experience in the managed services, infrastructure, or cybersecurity sectors.
* Familiarity with technology solutions related to cloud services, managed IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other IT services.
* Familiarity with industry-specific tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other lead generation platforms.
* Technical aptitude to quickly learn and explain IT services offerings in the managed infrastructure and security space.
