Let us introduce the role AWE is looking for a Training Co-Ordinator to join the Nuclear Transport Training Group, ensuring the competence is maintained for all parties involved in activities regarding Defence Nuclear Weapons and Other Radiological Material conveyed by Road, Rail and Routine Logistical Flights. Some of the Key Responsibilities Update and manage convoy training records held within local training databases, SafeOps365 and Minerva software for Road, Rail, Air operations, plus the Joint Operations Centre Create variances and waivers, and unload details from these onto local training databases as required Liaison with external training providers and co-ordinate training attendance for convoy personnel Create training reports for distribution to stakeholders Liaison with stakeholders to identify training issues that need rectifying Liaison with AWE, MoD and Military personnel regarding new convoy personnel and departure of convoy personnel Checking training records held within local training databases against operational crewing sheets for AWE, MoD and Military personnel Assist during the delivery of Nuclear Transport Induction Course and other associated convoy training as and when required Printing training documentation and filing completed Competence Based Qualification portfolios Minute taking for upcoming Defence Nuclear Material training and planning conferences Updating and management of training records within SafeOps365 for Defence Nuclear Material operations and the Dangerous Goods team Raising training course requisitions Uploading new training courses onto Minerva Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we’d like you to have experience in some of the following: A recognised training/teaching qualification is required for this role Proven ability in literacy and numeracy Proven ability in using core MS Office products Proven stakeholder management skills Great organisational ability Display creativity and problem-solving skills Proven team working skills Ability to initiate and complete own work and have high personal standards Proven ability in the use of SafeOps 365 and Minerva Be willing to attend off site events as required to support the delivery of field training events and other off-site training.
