We currently have an exciting opportunity within one of our client schools as a cover manager. Role Overview: As a Cover Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of this high-performing school. You’ll ensure that staff absences are effectively managed by organizing and allocating cover for lessons, liaising with teaching and support staff, and maintaining a consistent learning environment for students. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily cover arrangements, including organizing supply staff or reallocating internal resources. Communicate effectively with teaching and support teams to ensure a smooth operation. Build and maintain relationships with supply teachers and external agencies. Keep detailed records of cover and absences, ensuring compliance with school policies. Support the senior leadership team with administrative and operational tasks as required. Requirements: Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential. Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
