We anticipate an increase in demand for supply teachers once the schools reopen after Easter and are currently recruiting supply teachers to be available for long and short-term roles within Selby and surrounding areas.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Hold UK QTS.
2. Experience across 2 Key Stages (EYFS and KS1 or KS1 and KS2).
3. Excellent behaviour management skills and a flexible attitude.
4. Available 2-5 days per week with access to your own transport.
5. Willing to travel up to 30 minutes.
Most of the work will be booked in advance, but there may be occasions where you will be called between 7 am and 9 am for work on the same day.
Most schools will provide the planning for the day, but you will need to have a bank of resources to hand, suitable for all year groups – just in case. Working across various schools, you will follow each school’s policies, mark the children’s work, and provide handover notes for when the class teacher returns.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
