Summary
Wednesbury- Monday to Friday- 39 hours a week Lloyds British – A Division of Speedy Asset Services are currently recruiting Fabricator Welders to operate out of our Wednesbury, West Midlands Facility, to carry out duties associated with the manufacturing and repairing of heavy duty lifting and handling equipment. The following qualifications and experience are preferred, but not essential as training can be given:- Qualifications and experience required:
1. To undertake all types of fabrication / welding of parts on new and existing equipment to ensure that we provide our customer with a reliable, safe and defect free product.
2. Time served fabricator welder in MIG discipline
3. Have the ability and skill to operate equipment, relating to your trade or training.
4. Have the ability to carry out work on own initiative.
5. Advise of any defects/deficiencies in equipment/arrangements that could compromise the Health and Safety of themselves and others.
6. Work with the Production Controller to ensure accurate and on time completion of workshop requirements, completing Workshop Documentation, Quality Plans, Workshop Instruction and all relevant Inspection records to meet departmental work schedules.
7. Ensure a high level of housekeeping so that your area of responsibility is visitor ready at all times.
8. Be able to read engineering drawings.

11. You will need all-round knowledge of Mechanical Engineering.
12. Ideally have knowledge of Lifting and Handling Equipment.
13. Observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
14. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
15. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyses information skilfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations.
