Position Overview: The Azure Solutions Architect is a pivotal role within our Professional Services business, designed for a technical leader who will spearhead innovative Azure solutions across our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE). In this role, youwill excel in crafting well-architected solutions for clients, from large global deployments to application modernisation and security-focused projects. With an emphasis on collaboration, you will engage withvarious teams to evaluate and improve cloud solutions, while also promoting best practices in DevOps and automation. Youwill also have the opportunity tolead workshops, articulate complex ideas clearly, and stay ahead of Azure's evolving landscape, ensuring that clients receive maximum value from their cloud investments. The role promises a dynamic environment where creativity meets technical expertise, all while fostering strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders alike. Responsibilities: Some of your day-to-day activities will include: Designing and supporting the delivery of Azure projects end-to-end Creating Azure design collateral to a high-level Successfully delivering customer workshops to demonstrate designs/solutions Contributing to Azure Architecture requirements for internal Azure products Working with internal product teams to define and deliver services aligning with the business strategy Providing support to internal teams for technical escalations Qualifications & Experience: The right candidate for this role will have: Proven expertise in designing well-architected solutions using Azure components, including large global Landing Zone deployments, application modernisation, AVS solutions, and security-focused deployments with SOCNOC teams In-depth knowledge of Azure Services, with real-world exposure to PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, storage, monitoring, and management; involvement in building the Azure data practice Ability to evaluate new cloud solutions and enhance existing ones through participation in forums such as Azure TDA and Azure Service Development Forum Broad understanding of DevOps practices and experience with the Microsoft product stack, specifically Azure DevOps Proficient in automation and configuration management tools like Terraform, with a focus on adding automation deployment flows to customer solutions and supporting their DevOps adoption journey Familiarity with containers and container orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) to identify opportunities for application containerisation during modernisation efforts Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on Azure functionalities, roadmaps, and certification opportunities, including conducting proof-of-concept deployments Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, gather and document requirements, translate them into business processes, and engage stakeholders effectively Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and present ideas clearly in workshops and webinars Flexible mindset with critical thinking capabilities and the aptitude to interact with stakeholders at all levels, from C-suite executives to end users Click here for the list of benefits. The budgeted salary for this role is between £75,000 to £90,000 per year, depending on experience. Please note you need to be eligible to undergo the UK security clearance (SC) process to be considered for this role. For this reason you will need to be a British national with 5 years residency in the UK. Hybrid working: This hybrid role, with a remote-first emphasis, necessitates being in the office or at a client site for 4 days each month.
