Our Work Services Unit provides a range of key services such as waste and refuse collection, street sanitation and recycling services. We're a highly visible front line service that provides an invaluable benefit to all the residents of our Borough.
The successful applicant will have supervisory responsibility for the manual operatives employed on the Council’s environmental cleansing contracts and must be able to demonstrate the ability to deploy resources to ensure that the Works Services Unit operates efficiently and effectively to high standards of customer care.
Experience in a similar waste management environment is essential, together with the ability to demonstrate knowledge of Contract Management.
