SEMH Teaching Assistant
Our lovely primary school is looking for somebody who is dedicated, reliable, and able to build rapport quickly for 1:1 and TA work with children with learning disabilities. With a passion for learning within and beyond our classrooms, as well as a deep commitment to nature and the outside world, every child and member of staff is empowered to realize their full potential as learners. We have a strong link with the local community on projects such as the Royal Crescent Wildflower Planting Project to engage with the world around us! We know how important play and learning is to every child’s physical and mental wellbeing; thus, our aim is to encourage our pupils to explore and be creative!
COVID-19 disruptions have deeply affected children, leading to an increase in diagnoses of mental health issues, ADHD, and autism at younger ages. This surge has created a high demand for support. Support the most vulnerable children in your community and gain valuable experience. Due to this rise, every Friday we have a therapy dog come in for quiet reading time for our students, which our pupils find really relaxing and enjoyable!
If you have previous experience in any of these areas, we would love to hear from you:
1. Nurseries
2. Colleges
3. Youth Clubs
4. Residential
5. Care Homes
6. Personal experience considered (SEND)
7. Sociology, psychology, sports, and drama graduates are also encouraged to apply!

Benefits:
1. Weekly pay: £12.83 - £15 per hour
