Wood is looking for a Senior Quality Advisor at our offices at Sir Ian Wood House in Altens, Aberdeen on a 8 month contract working within our Upstream division. We can offer this position as a fixed term staff, PSC or PAYE contract. The role offers Hybrid working - 3 days office, 2 days working from home. The Role You will be supporting the application of quality principles, measures, and the quality management system across a program or project. Focused on improving delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction and reducing potential risks and rework whilst complying with Quality policy, and standards and delivering agreed objectives. You will act as primary point of contact for quality on the project, supported by the Lead Quality Advisor. You will be supporting assurance of the Wood Business Management System through a structured risk-based program. You will be supporting measures that ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement using performance data to make factually based decisions. This may include the allocation of quality resources Support the implementation of the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across the organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of quality systems across their organization (e.g., NCR, improvements, lessons learned, etc) Supporting the creation of quality deliverables in support of overall work execution and in accordance with agreed timelines Supporting the planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to quality managers/leads, and undertaking intervention as required Supporting effective supply chain management to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction. Expected: Lead Auditor qualification by a recognized industry body Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques Comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001 Proficient in the analysis of processes and data Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques Desirable: Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management, or related discipline Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute or equivalent
