Our client, a globally recognised organisation, providing investment and risk management services to a diverse range of clients, is looking for an experienced Strategic Sourcing professional in Professional Services. This is a 6-month temporary assignment and presents a fantastic opportunity to shape sourcing strategies and optimise supplier relationships within a global financial services environment. Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor on procurement strategies and supplier optimisation. Develop and implement cost-effective sourcing strategies (supplier consolidation, demand management, process reengineering). Manage and negotiate contracts with leading professional services firms. Conduct market research to identify trends and risks, supporting data-driven decision-making. Lead cost-saving initiatives while ensuring service quality. Oversee contract negotiations and compliance with legal and corporate standards. Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Business Units to align sourcing initiatives. Mentor junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture. What We're Looking For 6-10 years' experience in strategic sourcing within consulting, accounting, or financial services. Proven track record of high-value contract negotiations with major professional services firms (e.g. Big 4). Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills to support decision-making. Expertise in category planning, bidding (RFI, RFP, RFQ), and risk management. Advanced experience in contract drafting and redlining SLAs. Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AI tools (CoPilot), and procurement software. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, or Law.
