Job description The IT Operations Practicesits within the Technology and Transformation directorate andis responsible for the performance and delivery of all technical infrastructure which underpins and supports the organisation. It consists of5 technical team clusters which provide support, monitoring, operation and changes for technical solutions
The Delivery and Transition Cluster, which this role sits in, is responsible for leading delivery of quality new, and enhancements to, technical services and seamless transition of these to business as usual. The Load and Infrastructure Performance Team plays an important role in load and performance testing of Land Registry Services, providing assurance to the business and stakeholders.
Person specification To meet the requirements of this role you will have an undergraduate degree in computer science or a related subject OR professional industry experience. You will also have an ISTQB Qualification in Software Testing.
You will have experience of managing performance/load test activities and have significant experience of non-functional automated testing.
You will also have experience of planning and managing large scale testing activities within quality and time expectations. You will also have experience of analysing and testing infrastructure technologies along with experience of test analysis and techniques.
You will have experience of technical leadership within an IT organisation.
Occasional travel is required to other HMLR offices with possible overnight stays. This role does require occasional planned out of hours and may include participation in a permanent on-call rota.
