Skilled Vehicle/Plant Technician Stoke on Trent This job role involves working on different types of agricultural vehicles and machinery Key roles and responsibilities for Skilled Vehicle/Plant Technician Carry our repairs, fault finding and diagnostic testing to motor vehicle, contractors plant and grounds machinery powered by gas, diesel oil, petrol and electricity. Carry out MOT testing (class 4,5,7) Test driving vehicles Carry out assessments of vehicles and plant involved in accidents or damaged & advise on roadworthiness and arrange for repairs Carrying out vehicle inspections To participate in emergency standby and call out rota Complete paperwork in timely and accurate manner To deliver and collect vehicles from suppliers To provide support and advice on behalf of Stoke Transport Provision to internal and external customers and promote a customer first approach Minimum requirements for Skilled Vehicle/Plant Technician Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in vehicle or plant maintenance in a multidisciplinary workshop environment Hold a relevant qualification in Plant Motor Vehicle Technology equivalent to NVQ level 2/3 Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of M.O.T.
