Role Overview: The Head of Sales / Commercial will be responsible for shaping and executing the companys commercial strategy, developing strong partnerships, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of driving revenue within the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to drive growth across B2B, utility, and public sector markets. Commercial Strategy: Define and refine pricing models, contract structures, and go-to-market strategies to enhance competitiveness and profitability. Pipeline Management: Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and conversion. Partnerships & Key Accounts: Establish and nurture relationships with key clients, utilities, developers, financiers, and other industry stakeholders. Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales and commercial team, fostering a results-driven culture. Networking & Industry Engagement: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and professional associations to build connections and position Solarfix as a leader in the renewable energy space. Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and identify new opportunities. Revenue & P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for revenue targets, forecasting, and commercial performance. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a senior commercial, sales, or business development role in a relevant industry ie Renewable Energy, Electrical, Engineering, or Manufacturing. Strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Deep understanding of commercial contracting, project financing, and regulatory frameworks. Strong negotiation skills and experience closing large-scale B2B or infrastructure deals. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
