Teacher of PE
Full Time
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly-motivated PE Teacher. We would consider newly qualified as well as experienced teachers. The role presents the opportunity to teach across all age and ability levels and contribute to an expanding and busy Faculty. While practical PE and sport are line-managed by the Head of Sport and Assistant Head (Co-Curricular), teachers delivering GCSE and A-Level PE form part of the STEM Faculty, ensuring that students develop a deep understanding of the links between physical education and the sciences.
The Prep Department and students in Key Stage 3 undertake PE lessons, with the focus being on developing physical literacy and transferable sports skills. Students from across the Prep and Senior Departments also engage in a broad range of physical activities as part of the extensive Co-Curricular programme. From walking and running clubs, to racket sports, and from major team games to outdoor activities and water sports, every member of staff at Saint Felix School is encouraged to take a proactive role in the Co-Curricular Programme, allowing staff to share their own passions with the student body. This role would present an opportunity to lead a range of physical activities as part of the Co-Curricular programme.
