Customer Sales Support Manager Belfast/ Lisburn Area Attractive Salary & Benefits Our client, a leading UK & Ireland materials manufacturer, is seeking a Customer Sales Support Manager to align interdepartmental activities with customer needs, supporting growth and delivering exceptional service to a global customer base in packaging, medical, aerospace, and acoustics industries. The Customer Sales Support Manager will be responsible setting strategic departmental goals, overseeing team objectives, and ensuring all activities align with the company’s next phase of growth. This role requires close collaboration with production, dispatch, product, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance. The successful candidate will also lead on resolving customer issues, tracking order deliveries, and implementing best practices to meet business needs. Your role: Set departmental KPIs in conjunction with the senior management team and monitor team performance. Develop and support your team with clear objectives, regular review meetings, and growth-focused development plans. Lead cross-functional efforts with various departments to ensure cohesive service delivery. Track and manage customer orders, ensuring prompt updates and efficient resolution of service issues. Drive the quote-to-order process, supporting and monitoring quotes within a matrix environment. Champion best practices within your team, adjusting to meet customer and business demands. Initiate and support customer service enhancements, ensuring a positive, responsive first line of communication. Present insights and reports for internal and cross-functional commercial meetings. Essential Criteria: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a customer service environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience managing or implementing CRM systems, ideally with knowledge of Sage 200 accounting software. Strong organisational skills with a proactive, growth-focused mindset. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Preferred experience in the packaging or materials industry. Proven team player with the ability to inspire, develop, collaborate and communicate effectively in a cross-functional environment. Confidence to challenge processes constructively and present positive changes.
