You will help a business that sees its people as the key to unlocking its new product strategy and customer expansion plans, boring this is not!
Reading about this job is worth a couple of minutes of your time. While this conforms to a few job advert cliches i.e., is an industry leading client in their niche area (you are likely to recognise their food products), they have undergone significant positive change in the last 12-18 months.
New owners, potential acquisition, commercial growth, and new faces as part of bolstering their ranks, this is a very exciting time in this business’s long history.
This means you will engage with the site undergoing significant change and take a lead in the people element of it. As it is a manufacturing environment you will have plenty of autonomy in a fast-moving setting, where the days will fly by as you are kept busy seamlessly transferring from an ER focus, to helping set the HR plan, to working on CI projects. Slow pace this is not, but if it was that can get quite monotonous, can’t it?
So, if you have got this far, the role should appeal. Not least that the business has a very well thought of new senior leadership team, who share some fantastic individual success stories, but also combined are better than the sum of their parts. This means 1) you will feel welcomed into a business that feels very natural and not forced and 2) you will be able to learn a lot from people who are regarded as some of the best in their sector.
This business is really focused on delivering an ever-improving operation but instigating that via consistent and sustainable change, so helping manage this will see you in good stead. You will need to have a background in a fast-paced generalist HR environment. If you feel you have that right balance between getting things done but in a professional and respectful manner, that will see you fit in well here. FMCG/Manufacturing/Logistics/Hospitality etc will be valued from an industry experience point of view.
Being busy can be hard. But it’s much better than not being busy, especially when there is so much positive work to be done here – send your CV across today to learn more.
