About the role
Scarborough TEC is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Electrical Work Based Trainer to join our Apprenticeship team. As a work-based trainer, you will manage a caseload of learners, ensuring the timely achievement of their Apprenticeship, in accordance with the agreed Apprenticeship program of delivery. Collaborating closely with other trainers and tutors, you will coordinate apprenticeships, ensuring all components align with the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
About the person
The successful candidate will conduct regular workplace visits in line with apprenticeship learning plans and guided learning hours, monitor learner progress, complete assessments, and facilitate achievement targets. You will maintain accurate learner records for audit and quality purposes, undertake pre-apprenticeship and start up visits following agreed procedures and engage employers in learning reviews and uphold a positive image of workforce skills.
Candidate will be fully qualified (minimum Level 3) and have relevant work/industrial experience within the Engineering industry. It would be desirable for the candidate to possess the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or be willing to work towards.
