Reporting to Director of Operations, Technical, IT and BT Direct Reports Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, EHS Manager, Technical Manager, NPD Technologist, Planning Manager The Site Manager role in our newly commissioned Leeming Bar cooked meats site is responsible for leading and directing the Site Leadership Team to implement business strategies and programmes to sustain and grow the business and to ensure maximum efficiency, service and profitability for the business. The Site Manager sets the culture which delivers a cross functional collaborative working environment where the factory teams are empowered to improve KPI's and develop their teams. They responsible for the quality and performance of the Site Leadership team, and for ensuring the business has the capabilities, culture and talent pipeline required for successful execution of the business strategy. Manage and control waste streams throughout the business with a CI approach to improving them Grow our Profit Develop a culture of continuous improvement that is always looking to reduce the cost of conversion per pack as a % of the sales price per pack on site. Develop and manage a capital investment programme that will give the best return on investment for the business and that aligns with our Strategic vision Work with the Procurement team to minimise the lead time from order to delivery while managing stock levels to optimise service and minimise waste and double handling Responsibility Site Overheads Better Business Manage and report on performance Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually Enhance a simple suite of visually management aids (dashboards) on site that allow everyone from the GO to the SLT clearly understand performance Required experience: 5 Years Site Management Experience in a cooked meats business.
