As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1-1 and small group support for children with Autism, ADHD, ASD, SEMH, and challenging behaviour. Work across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) settings in a Primary School environment. Assist the Class Teacher in delivering the National Curriculum to children with SEND. Adapt and implement strategies to meet individual learning needs. Help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Offer consistent and compassionate support to ensure all students thrive. Required Skills and Experience: Previous UK school experience, especially within a Primary School. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in education or childcare. Knowledge of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, ASD, and SEMH. Familiarity with the National Curriculum and its application to 1-1 and group settings. A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting children with challenging behaviour. As a SEND Teaching Assistant for Flourish Education, you’ll enjoy: £85.02 to £98.41 per day, equivalent to £16,578.90 to £19,189.95 per annum for full-time work. The option of PAYE or Umbrella pay.
