Calling all SAP Super users, we have a new vacancy to join a new department with our logistics customer.
You will play an integral part in controlling the movement of goods and transport for their customers.
Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and a transport environment.
To be considered for the role you must be able to work shifts, earlies and lates, rotating, Monday to Friday.
As an SAP Transport Controller, your responsibilities will include:
1. Coordination with both EU/UK Operations teams and the customer in a time pressured environment to ensure accurate information is provided/acted upon.
2. Maintaining and coordinating deliveries.
3. Updating and maintaining the SAP system for all Yard Management moves inbound to the customer receiving deck.
4. Identifying, solving, and reporting operational inconsistencies, problems, and delays; escalating to senior management where applicable.
5. Providing feedback from Operations/Planning and the customer in relation to queries/issue resolution.
6. Booking additional slots for extra deliveries and cancelling slots for collections not required; controlling, maintaining, and arranging dock slots as per the dock plan and operational requirements.
7. Liaising with all departments.
8. Generating accurate reports for the customer and senior management.

You may be required to travel to the Midlands for training as needed.
A DBS check may also be required.
Basic salary £25,000, plus shift allowance, £30,000.
