Hours of work: Shifts – Monday-Friday, 14:00-22:00

Job Description:
- Manage & Lead a team within the Distribution Centre, to deliver excellent service to Field Operations. Manage the supply chain, through end-to-end Supply Chain procedures and practices.
- To supervise, monitor, co-ordinate, develop, support and engage the team in ensuring all workload activity is organised, remaining committed to meeting customer expectations.
- Full understanding & application of the Warehouse Management System (automation)
- Strong visible leadership in all aspects of Health & Safety management mitigating operational risks & hazards
- To apply the company Attendance Management & disciplinary processes fairly and consistent
- Trained and prepared to deputise for the Supplies Manager.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Trained and prepared to deputise for the Supplies Manager.
- Responsible for the Health, Safety & Wellbeing of their team, creating a good Health & Safety culture leading by example & ensuring all processes & procedures are being adhered to
- Daily operational management of the warehouse management system
- Application of the Attendance Management Process, completing regular absence reviews, stage management & working with business partners to ensure full support mechanisms are in place
- Monitoring behaviours and applying the disciplinary processes & procedures
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to develop more efficient and cost-effective ways of working.
- Stakeholder engagement and management of internal and external third parties including our suppliers
- Ensure the teams are trained with all records accurately recorded and updated
- Management of change and process improvement within a Supply chain operation.
- Involvement in project management – new processes and services
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Leadership skills within a Supply chain environment, strong communication, engagement, and team management knowledge.
- Knowledge and understanding of good health & safety practices and duty of care requirements, first level H&S qualification IOSH.
- Ability to prioritise workload and plan/manage resource accordingly.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work closely with the team and management to generate solutions to solve problems.
- Maintain effectiveness promoting continuous improvement.
- Achievement of goals and objectives, including excellence in customer satisfaction in a regulated environment
- Knowledge and understanding of team key performance indicators
- Understanding of what delivers great customer service
- Strong IT skill set with knowledge and expertise with propriety software and DC
- Warehouse Management System
- Understanding of the business processes such as Attendance Management, Disciplinary & other leave and how to apply them effectively

- Good literacy and numerical ability
- Strong IT skill set
- GCSE’s A to C, NVQ Level 2
- An appropriate Warehousing qualification would be advantageous.
