This vacancy is for a femalecare personal assistant to join our client s support package tosupport them in their own home for 12 hours per week. We will beyour legal employer on behalf of the client and you will not beasked to support other clients. All of our contracts are forpermanent positions with a 6 month probationary period.We are looking to recruit a parttimefemale personal care assistant to a young man with special needsautism and limited mobility. You will be required to work on aMonday and Friday 6hrs each day. You should also be flexible tocover additional shifts whenneeded.
Aboutthe Client and SupportNeeded:
Ourclient lives at home with his family in the Driffield area and youwill be required to support him at home in the rural setting wherehelives.
Heenjoys cooking baking crafts drawing board games pool riding out onhis scooter photography animals wildlife shopping and collectingMarvel and DC memorabilia.
Hedoes require some personal care but there is no moving and handlinginvolved.
Ourclient requires support with meal making loading and unloading hisscooter into thevan.
Youwill help with cleaning and tidying all of our clients livingspaces and bed changes and make sure his areas are sanitised as hehas brittleasthma.
Whenout and about you will make sure he is safe and well supportedconstantly as autism can make him feel vulnerable. You will makehis life fun and interesting by creating things to do within hisabilityrange.
