An opportunity has arisen for a housekeeper to join our team on the children's ward.
We are a bedded inpatient ward, with a co-located assessment unit and elective ward.
The housekeeper is an integral part of our team in ensuring the safe and effective care of children admitted for acute and elective reasons.
Main duties of the job
1. To support the Ward Manager in the day to day running of the Wards, together with specified tasks to meet individual patient needs as determined by the Ward Manager / Deputy Ward Manager or Nurse in Charge.
2. To be responsible for general housekeeping duties within the wards.
3. To work closely with contractors and support services and monitor quality standards and rectify deficiencies in liaison with the Ward Managers.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
