Job summary We are recruiting for a Clinical Trials Practitioner who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients. You will work with the research team recruiting patients to clinical trials and other NIHR research studies. Research skills and competency-based training will be provided which are combined with practice placements to deliver an integrated approach to clinical research training. Main duties of the job You will be working doctors and research nurses in recruiting patients to different surgical and medical research studies and assisting with their care, including taking bloods, performing ECG's and vital signs. Training will be provided for other clinical skills. You will also be supporting with the administrative side of the studies, e.g preparing notes, collecting scan reports and assisting the non-clinical team in locating and extracting data from patient records.
