Atlas Workplace Services are looking for an Maintenance Assistant to join our team near Oxford. As the Maintenance Assistant you will be responsible for ensuring delivery and performance of facilities services on the Infineum contract. Continuous improvement to achieve output driven specifications in line with KPI’s and SLA’s. The individual will assist in the delivery of the clients primary function within the Laboratory environment by supplying the team with functional critical items. they will also provide support to the Hard services engineers primarily the fabric engineer. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Ensuring the highest focus on Customer Services and assisting with the measurement of service as required. Provide a porterage and stores service, including but not limited to the collection and delivery of parcels, packages and goods around site. Completing and collating paperwork as required ensuring compliance to the document management process. Receive and action daily reactive work requests using the Planon mobile app to proactively manage workload in line with contract performance KPI/SLA’s. Completion of general maintenance tasks, item movements, painting and decorating, alongside many other general works requested by the management team and Infineum colleagues. Providing service within the Laboratories including but not limited to movements and cleaning of glassware. Providing a laundry service including but not limited to the collection and delivery of lab coats. Assisting with conference and meeting room set ups, furniture layouts and movements across site. Ensuring waste management processes and procedures are adhered to including the movement of rubbish to correct designated areas. Compliance to all other relevant processes. Ensure that sufficient quality standards are always maintained. Ensure any repairs noticed during duties are reported to the Helpdesk. Ensure adequate stock of equipment is available and where necessary requests for replenishments are submitted to line manager in a timely manner. Ensure adequate and timely responses to incidents and changes in customer requirements. Take personal ownership of the standard of work you deliver - ensuring exceptional service to the customer. Carry out all reasonable requests as directed by Atlas management. About You Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role Previous experience within similar environment involved in multi discipline building services delivery. Experience in a customer facing environment. Good inter-personal skills Good understanding of modern office software. Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as Planon CAFM system on Android tablets. Experience of completing tasks in heavily permitted working environments where compliance to H&S site rules and management systems are paramount.
