IntaPeople are proud to be supporting a well-established organisation who require an experienced Senior Software Developer to join as their cross functional software team.
This role plays a key part in the delivery of high-quality products within the software development team. You will be actively focused on the backend Laravel based systems but with a requirement to contribute towards their Frontend Vue.js codebase.
You’ll also be responsible for taking an active role in Scrum standups and retro’s whilst also positively contributing to the company’s overall software architecture and strategic architectural decisions alongside the Chief Technology Officer.
Essential Skills
* Strong work experience in a commercial development role (at least 5 years)
* Strong PHP and Laravel development skills
* Experience using SQL databases (specifically ideally MySQL)
* Experience in conducting code reviews
* Strong skills of the following technologies: Phpunit, Docker, Linux, and Github
* Experience working within an Agile development team and having a voice within standups/demos and sprints
Having experience with microservices architecture, Amazon Web Services and JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js would be highly desirable but not essential.
Being a Senior Software Developer within the team you’ll provide guidance and support to other team members whilst also adhering to coding standards for PHP.
