Fantastic opportunity for a support worker to work with Mark and be part of his amazing support team. Beyond Limits Dumfries and Galloway works with people differently and so we are looking for a different type of support worker. We are truly person-centred, providing support to people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health difficulties in their own homes.
Essential for this job: Must hold a full UK driving licence
Mark has moved last year from Midpark hospital and he is looking for one support worker to complete his team.
He has autism and a learning disability and he wants you to know he has no verbal communication. He is a lively young man who can be impulsive, he responds well to structured environments and he loves wildlife and nature. When chilling out he likes Netflix and he is a big fan of spicy food.
You will have the opportunity to do your best work here, to really get to know Mark and understand how to support him to achieve his potential. Your sole focus will be Mark, you will work with him in his home, supporting him to do the things he loves and exploring new opportunities with him.
