Community Forensic Team - Band 5 Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Birmingham Community Forensic Team permanently. Our multi-disciplinary team works with individuals who have a learning disability and have committed a serious criminal offence or are at significant risk of doing so.
• You will be a Nurse with experience within Learning Disabilities.
• You will hold a registration in Learning Disability Nursing / Mental Health Nursing.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have forensic clinical experience as well as knowledge and experience of conducting forensic risk assessments and developing and implementing risk reduction interventions. The post holder will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have a passion for person-centred care and integrated team working.

Participate in training of student nurses and other staff.
Delivery of education/information and training to patients, carers, members of multi-disciplinary teams and others according to their requirements and within professional expertise.
