About the role
This role is responsible for driving the execution of learning services across multiple markets, leading a team of learning and development professionals to deliver leading products that support our strategic priorities.
You will be responsible for
* Delivering the group learning and development priorities to colleagues at all work levels and managers across multiple markets, to lead our strategic business objectives, a winning culture and support our talent development priorities.
* Executing a roadmap of leadership and management learning services, colleague training and onboarding to enhance colleague engagement and a high-performance culture.
* Leading a cross-geography, multi-cultural team - inspiring a high-performance culture, fostering an inclusive work environment, and building future-fit capability across Tesco.
* Delivering operational excellence across the end-to-end learning experience for colleagues and managers, underpinned by a culture of continuous improvement.
* Developing and managing the associated learning services budget.
* Tracking and reporting on learning services performance and return on investment to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
* Having a growth mindset - embracing change and technology to transform the Group Learning operating model, leveraging new and existing technologies to create accessible and impactful learning experiences.
* Partnering closely with the Group Capability Practice of Expertise to activate the global learning strategy consistently across multiple markets.
You will need
* Strong understanding of learning services, trends and best practice.
* An analytical mindset, with the ability to use data and insight to improve learning outcomes.
* Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to align learning services to strategic business objectives.
* Proven leadership and people management skills, with experience leading diverse remote teams.
* Excellent communication and business partnering skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
* Proven experience of delivering large initiatives at scale.

* Annual bonus scheme of up to 45% of base salary
